Philips Mobile resolve the Battery timing issue : 35 Days standby time

Philips is coming soon in the smartphone market with Philips Xenium W8510 Android based smartphone that is going to be powered by a massive 3300mAh battery. The phone is expected to provide 35 days of up time on the Standby mode. Its powerful battery is going to provide 18hours of talk time on 3G networks and 14 hours of browsing time using the WiFi connectivity.

The phone is going to offer amazingly fast charging features. It will be able to provide 20 hours of up time in the Standby mode and up to 2 hours of calling by charging it for only 10 minutes. And, if you charge the phone for 30 minutes then it will give you about 6 hours of calling time and 57 hours of up time in the Standby mode.

Apart from a massive battery, the Philips Xenium W8510 is going to feature a 4.7inch touch screen display with the resolution of 720 pixels. It is powered by a 1.2GHz quad core processor along with 1GB of RAM memory. It is running Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system version and comes with WiFi, Bluetooth, 3G and 2G connectivity features.

It is having 8MP rear camera with LED flash and 2MP front facing camera. Company is expected to launch the smartphone in Chinese market first and then it will roll out in other selected markets. Philips is currently selling its smartphones in selected markets, so launching of this massive battery powered Android phone in India is out of the question at the moment.
